Frequently asked questions

No minimum order quantity. We produce everything from single one-off plates through to large scheduled runs. The unit price reflects the quantity, but there is no threshold below which we won't accept an order.

We accept DXF, PDF, AI, and EPS files. A clear dimensioned sketch or a physical sample also works as a starting point. If anything is missing or ambiguous we'll come back to you before quoting, so don't hold off sending what you have.

Our standard range covers engraving laminate (often called Traffolyte), stainless steel and acrylic. Everything is laser marked — the laser engraves laminate and acrylic, and fuses a durable ceramic-black finish on stainless steel. We'll discuss the best option with you when we quote.

Yes. Every order receives a digital proof for your approval before any engraving starts. Where it would help — for example on a new or complex tag design — we can also produce a sample plate for sign-off before running the full quantity.

Lead times are confirmed on a per-order basis at the proof stage, once we know the quantity, material, and any finishing requirements. We aim to keep turnaround prompt; if you have a hard deadline, let us know when you enquire and we'll tell you whether it's achievable before you commit.

Yes. Orders are labelled, packed and sent on a tracked service to any UK delivery address. If you need delivery to a specific site address or have particular packaging requirements, note them at the quote stage.

Yes. Send us a physical sample, a photograph, or the scheme details — colour, font, layout, fixing arrangement — and we'll reproduce it to match. If the original was produced to a drawing, supplying that drawing gives us the fastest route to an exact match.
